Challenge:
ITW Sexton Can Company, a Martinsburg manufacturer of deep drawn cans for automotive oil filters and custom canisters for enclosed electrical capacitors, wanted to integrate lean manufacturing practices with all aspects of its operations.
Solution:
WVMEP developed a customized program involving six supervisors responsible for day-to-day operations. During the sessions, supervisors learned about improving production, customer service and transactional processes.
